About the pitch

The semifinals

More than 60 start-ups applied for the NEXT14 Start-up Pitch. 28 of them made it to the next round - the semi-finals. Divided into four sessions they will present their business idea live on the Start-up Stage on May 5 in front of the attendees of the conference and right next to our jury. Four start-ups go on to the final. In our last session they can present their idea on the huge Main Stage. At the end, one winner will be awarded. Below you can find the 28 semi-finalists.

The jury

12 experts of the international start-up scene joined our jury: Jess Erickson (Geekettes), Matt Cooper (Elance /oDesk), Christoph Gerlinger (German Start-ups Group Berlin), Philipp Möhring (AngelList), Shira Abel (Hunter & Bard), Claudia Helming (DaWanda), Alex Farcet (Startupbootcamp), Alexander Hofmann (Gründerszene), Ayelet Noff (Blonde 2.0), Claudius Gerstner (némata) and Morten Lund (Serial Entrepeneur). Our pitch will be moderated by Milo Yiannopoulos and Colette Ballou.
