David Weinberger will give the closing keynote of NEXT Berlin 2012
By Martin Recke
He is one of the co-authors of the influential and groundbreaking bestseller Cluetrain Manifesto, published right back in 1999. David Weinberger's new book, Too Big to Know: Rethinking Knowledge Now That the Facts Aren't the Facts, Experts Are Everywhere, and the Smartest Person in the Room Is the Room, gets to the heart of what we need to know – and too often don't – about how the network world's flood of information is transforming business and society.
We are happy that David will join us for the first time at a NEXT Berlin event. He will close the conference with a keynote in the afternoon of May 9. In the unlikely event that you don't know of David, here's a video shot by NEXT curator Elisabeth Stangl of 99FACES that gives you a first glimpse.
David's other books include Everything Is Miscellaneous: The Power of the New Digital Disorder, and Small Pieces Loosely Joined.
One of the connected economy’s most thought-provoking mavericks, David is a fellow at Harvard University’s prestigious Berkman Center, a former philosophy professor, NPR commentator, technology columnist, weblogging pioneer, and entrepreneur.
