Over 80 speakers already confirmed their participation, among them high-profile minds such as Andrew Keen, Tim Ferriss and TechCrunch editor and blogger Sarah Lacy, who travelled to visit the most fascinating start-ups worldwide. With Rolf Schmidt-Holtz participants can expect a thought leader of the media industry on stage: The journalist and manager of Sony Music Entertainment has been successfully engaged in the online as well as print and TV business for the past couple of decades. Before, he was publisher and chief editor at “Stern” and chief creative officer at Bertelsmann. Thereby the NEXT conference underlines its claim as one of the most important conferences within the digital industry in Germany.

The American entrepreneur and author Tim Ferriss published international bestsellers with the book titles “The 4-Hour-Workweek“ and “The 4-Hour Body“. Furthermore, Peter Vesterbacka of Rovio Mobile, the creators of the popular mobile app Angry Birds, will be presenting at NEXT11.

Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer at Amazon, generated buzz with his lastest work in the cloud computing field. David Rowan, editor in chief of the British edition of the Wired magazine, belongs to one of the most prominent minds of the online industry, too. Previously to his engagement at the prizewinning future technology magazine he wrote for the Sunday Times Magazine and The Guardian.

The social dimensions of “Data Love” will be illustrated by Matt Gierhart. He is passionate on finding digital communication solutions for several years. Since 2010 he manages the social activities at OgilvyAction, London. More social insights will be provided by Bastian Unterberg, co-founder and CEO of the Berlin-based start-up jovoto as well as by David Noël of the music platform SoundCloud.
